On Friday 22 March ten students from Grades 7-11 and two teachers will travel to Ho Chi Minh City to participate in SAIMUN 2019. Two of our students will chair a committee while the other eight students will serve as delegates for Japan and Peru. In MUN students re-enact the workings of the United Nations.
Saigon Model United Nations will be hosted by European International School at Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers. It will involve 13 schools, coming from across the city as well as ISPP.
With more than 300 students from those schools attending, together with ISPPMUN and UNISMUN, it will be one of the largest Model United Nations conferences in the region. It offers students an ideal opportunity to practise their diplomatic and debating skills, as well as a chance to build new and foster old friendships.
